Pahari ka Qaidi is a very short novel by Nimra Ahmed. The main concept of the novel is to highlight the problems of a widow who is alone. Along with taking care of a handicapped child with her job. She also highlights the injustice in our country and summarizes the inequality and socio-economic issues in our society. H
ow people didn’t care for anything going around and accused and blamed others for everything.
The story revolves around a widow teacher living with her son Adil who is a patient of Asthma, a handicapped and a slow-learning kid. He can’t live normal life like other kids. The mother has to go for the job and also take care of her child as her school doesn’t accept his admission. She is facing a very hard time financially. The story is interesting and give many lessons.
