The novel story revolves around some social issues in our society. The struggle and difficulties of a young widow and after-marriage-based issues. Zeshma’s husband died after six months of nikah and he is also her cousin.
The story starts when Hazin and his friend are on the way to some party and they both are on drugs. Hazin hit a car and the other car was badly damaged. A girl and a boy are seriously injured. He saw the man was dead and the girl’s face was full of blood. But her girlfriend is not ready to take them to the hospital. She wanted to escape from there and told him to run with her. But Hazin didn’t agree. She ran away leaving him.
In the hospital, he came to know that he was her husband and he was guilty of what he had done. Hazin is the hero of the story. The twist comes when Zeshma’s husband is hit by Hazin’s car and he dies. Now Hazin wants to help her because of the guilt.
Hazin’s mother unknowingly goes to Zeshma’s home and engages Hazin with Zeshma. Zeshma didn’t want to marry but she agreed because of her family as they are worried for her all the time. Hazin didn’t know that Zeshma was the same girl and he went to her house because her mother wanted him to meet the girl she liked.
When he saw Zeshma there, he was shocked and then he tried hard for this relationship. She was married to him but the guilt of Hazin wasn’t gone. Now he started to love her and wants her to know the truth. But afraid that she go away when she came to know this.
