Bano Qudsia was a Pakistani novelist, playwright, and spiritualist. She was born on November 28, 1928, Firozpur, India and died on February 4, 2017 in Lahore. Ashfaq Ahmed is her husband. A well-known writer to Urdu literature. She has three children. She is well known for books, dramas, plays, quotes and short stories. 

Most people are familiar with Qudsia from her book Raja Gidh. She also wrote in Urdu and Punjabi for television and the stage. Her most familiar works are Aik Din, Asay Pasay, Chahar Chaman, Chotaa Sheher Baray Log, Footpath ki Ghaas, Haasil Ghaat, and Hawa Kay Naam. Her famous plays include Tamasil, Hawa Kay Naam, Seharay, and Khaleej, Raja Gidh.

She highlights many social issues that are familiar to readers. All her novels are published in book format. She is rather creative in writing quotes.
