Shehr E Janan Novel Summary
Shehr E Janan is a romantic novel along with our social issues. This story revolves around a girl named Anmol. Anmol is a lid when her parents take her to work in home. Anmol is from a poor family who stays from childhood to work in someone’s house. She did the job of a helper in this house. Nudrat have three kids. She gave job to Anmol at her home.
But she treated her as her child. She is a good woman. All three Children get close to her, and they grow up
together. Burhan is the eldest one. Burhan is a stubborn child, other two are calm but Burhan wants everything he wishes but he respect her mother a lot.
Eventually, he gets attached to Anmol and wishes to
marry her, but Burhan’s mother doesn’t agree for this relationship. He argues and at last he left the country. Anmol is also agree for marriage with Burhan. And then she gets married to someone else.
Anmol tries her best to maintain her relationship, but her husband is not a
good person. He taunts her about everything. But always remain good with his so called in-laws. When Burhan comes back, he was happy for Anmol because he thought she get settled in her life. But when he went to
Anmol’s house to meet her.
In the wedding hall, the colors were at their peak. There was a flood of
colorful women dressed in rich and colorful clothes. Laughter full of joy,
headphones, sitting on the stage, the newlywed couple beaming with
happiness. Everything was in place. She was sitting on a table in a
corner. Amal just got up from him and went towards some other girls of the
same age. Unlike usual,
on Amal’s insistence, she had worn pencil heels, but now her feet were
starting to show.
There was a heated conversation with another woman who was
standing. Mother was calling Nadrat. While he has
only one daughter I think, I met him a little while ago. The voice coming from the back table was in his ears. Even without turning,
she knew who was sitting behind because Nadrat had introduced her and Amal to
that aunty some time ago. Don’t you know, Shaista Baji? Yes, how would you know?
You have come to
Pakistan after so many years. It is priceless. She was ten or twelve years
old when Nadrat adopted her. You know, she was a widow. She used to teach in
