Hadd is a short story revolving around the Jahangir Shah family. The main plot of the novel is very impressive. The author of ‘Hadd’ choose this word from the ‘Quran’ and ‘Sunnah’ because in the Quran and Sunnah there are various acts for which punishment is described and explained clearly how it applies to each sinner. Because it is clearly written.

In this novelette, Nimra Ahmed writes a twisted story that give us a lesson that we forget, the true spirit of Islamic justice and finding scientific ways to prove everything in everyday life and in court. On the one hand, we apply these measures to make it easy to judge things and quickly decide who is right or wrong.  A girl named Minal, claims to be the daughter of Jahangir Shah, and his wife Shehla agrees as she always has doubt on him. Jehnagir and Shehla have two kids Hussnain and Sohni and Mehrmah if from Jahangir first wife.

After Minal’s claims to be jahangir daughter, a big drama starts, including DNA test. When jahangir mother was told that DNA report is positive. She gets shocked and passed away; leaving his elder granddaughter Mehr as the head of the village. And then Mehr do the judgement, and she makes the right decision as describe in Qur’an.
